Mike Povey is a mining engineer with over 40 years of worldwide experience in the resource sector in a wide range of commodities. He has held senior management positions in various public companies including Rio Tinto and Anglo American, with surface and underground mining operations in Africa, North America, and Australia. Over the past 20 years, Mike has held positions as Chairman, Managing Director and Technical Director of several ASX and AIM listed companies where he has led project acquisitions, exploration programs, JV negotiations and equity raisings.
Mike is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and holds a number of Certificates of Competency, including a West Australian Mine Managers Certificate.
Mr Straw is a second-generation economic geologist with over 20 years’ experience in mineral project assessment and exploration management in the Americas, Australia and China.
He has more than a decade in executive management, financing and exploration focused on value adding to projects through innovative, low-cost exploration techniques and results-driven management. Mr Straw has a broad international network of technical and funding teams providing access to high-quality people, projects and capital.
John Robins, P.Geo.

Mr. John Robins is a professional geologist, prospector and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in the mining industry. In 2008, he was awarded the Spud Huestis award for his contribution to mineral exploration in British Columbia and Yukon. He has been involved in several notable discoveries including the 5-million-ounce Coffee Gold deposit in Yukon, the Three Bluffs gold deposit in the Committee Bay greenstone belt, and the Aviat/Churchill diamond districts of Nunavut.
He has been involved in over a billion dollars in M&A activity and has generated over 500 million dollars in direct and indirect mineral expenditures throughout Canada, Latin America and Australia. Mr. Robins is Chairman to Fireweed Zinc Ltd. and K2 Gold Corp. and a Strategic Advisor to GBR, Genesis Metals Corp., Kodiak Copper Corp., ValOre Metals Corp. and Ethos Gold Corp.
Mr. Klinck is an accomplished mining executive with a wide range of management experience throughout Australasia & The Americas. He was President & CEO of Bluestone Resources, following the acquisition of the Cerro Blanco gold project in Guatemala in 2017, where he led the team that financed and advanced the project through resource expansion, feasibility and engineering phases of project development. He also spent more than ten years with OceanaGold as a member of an Executive Committee that achieved significant growth and business expansion to become a multi-mine, international gold mining company, growing from a market capitalization of less than C$100M to one greater than C$3B.
Over the past 20 years, Darren has been instrumental in negotiating both equity and debt financing packages totaling more than $800m and has significant experience leading teams in emerging markets with a strong focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community engagement programs, as well as extensive government relations activities. Mr. Klinck has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Haskayne School of Business at The University of Calgary. He is also a Director of ValOre Metals Corp.
Kevin as a Chartered Accountant / Strategy Consultant has over 30 years’ experience incubating, funding, growing and listing companies, whilst acting in the role of either Director, Company Secretary and/or CFO. Kevin is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia), Australian Institute of Company Directors and Financial Services Institute of Australia, from which he gained his Master of Applied Finance and Investment.
John E. Hiner
Mr. Hiner is a licensed geologist in the State of Washington and SME registered member and he has an exploration history of over 45 years with several major mining companies exploring for geothermal energy, precious metals and industrial minerals. He has served as a director and/or officer of mineral exploration and mining development companies, and works as an independent consulting geologist for mining companies. Previously, Mr. Hiner was an officer of Geocom Resources Inc., and is currently a director of Red Pine Petroleum Ltd. and Golden Lake Exploration Inc.
Mr Duddle has over 20 years’ experience in equity markets as a stock-broker and financial advisor focused on extractive industries for Bell Potter Securities. He has extensive experience raising capital for mining and exploration projects in a wide range of jurisdictions and commodities.
Jim is a principal of Discovery Group and has been actively involved in marketing and corporate development activities for the group’s companies since 2002. Jim has 22 years of industry experience, including capital raises, acquisitions, joint-ventures, spin-outs, RTOs, and IPOs. He is the Chairman and CEO of ValOre Metals Corporation and was a driving force behind more than $60 million in equity financings for ValOre that lead to multiple discoveries and a 200% increase in mineral resources at ValOre's Angilak uranium project.
Jim was a long-standing and active director of Kaminak Gold Corp. (acquired by Goldcorp.), and a founding director of Northern Empire Resources Corp. (acquired by Coeur Mining) and Bluestone Resources Inc. (until 2020). In 2007, Jim founded Corsa Capital Ltd. Corsa's 2008 IPO lead to a 2010 transaction which created a leading U.S. metallurgical coal producer with a C$250M market capitalization. Jim is a founder and principal of Brunswick Capital, a private merchant bank.
Mr. Sadowski is a finance industry professional who has spent two decades focused on the metals and mining sector. David currently serves as Managing Director and a senior leader of mining investment banking at Canaccord Genuity, a premier global financial services firm and the largest independent investment dealer in Canada. David’s experience includes years as an exploration geologist and topranked equity research analyst in mining asset evaluation, including visiting more than 150 global projects and mines, with a focus on corporate finance and M&A advisory, leading to billions of dollars in total transaction value.
